Amorphous Solar Panel
Amorphous solar panels are created through a deposition process which actually forms the
silicon material directly on the glass substrate. Amorphous solar panels can generate electricity and perform well in low light conditions, because they can absorb a wider band of the visible light spectrum.
Since amorphous solar panels feature with thin thickness, low conversion efficiency, low production cost, and both indoor and outdoor use, they are widely used in solar applications with low power consumption or low-light environments, such as electronic calculators, wireless sensors, watches, soldering masks, speedometers and car security devices etc.
